01 / How we work

Our Process

Our manufacturing partners carry out production. Actech coordinates technical communication and project requirements, evaluates samples and performs pre-shipment checks.

01

Requirement review

Most projects begin with complete part drawings. We review the scope, intended application and production needs before evaluating the manufacturing approach.

View step details
You provide
Drawings or CAD files, material and finish requirements, estimated quantities and target timing. For assembly projects, include the BOM and testing requirements where applicable.
We review
Part requirements, critical interfaces, intended use and any information needed to define the project scope.
02

Engineering evaluation

We assess manufacturability and coordinate the processes needed for molded parts, machined components and assembly.

View step details
Engineering assessment
We review materials, component geometry, tolerances, surface finishes and assembly requirements, and discuss suitable processes and practical design recommendations.
Drawing support
Customers normally revise their own drawings. Where needed, Actech can prepare engineering drawings from customer-supplied 3D files.
Specification approval
All specification changes require customer confirmation before implementation.
03

Quotation & optimization

Quotation brings the manufacturing plan and commercial requirements together. Where appropriate, we discuss opportunities to improve the design or reduce cost.

View step details
Scope & deliverables
We clarify quantities, tooling requirements, production assumptions and the inspection, testing and packing scope applicable to the project.
Your decision
Review the quotation and agree on the scope and commercial terms before proceeding.
04

Prototype & sample

Prototype or pilot-run samples provide a way to evaluate the proposed solution and identify necessary adjustments.

View step details
Sample evaluation
Depending on the project, Actech checks dimensions, flatness, assembly fit, appearance or specified functions. Dimensional measurement data is provided where applicable.
Customer approval
Samples and any required changes are submitted for customer approval. Production begins only after the customer approves the samples and confirms the applicable specifications.
05

Production & delivery

We coordinate manufacturing, quality monitoring and delivery, with a single point of contact throughout the program.

View step details
Production checks
Suppliers perform production first-piece checks. For assembly projects, Actech documents the agreed assembly, testing and packing requirements for suppliers to follow.
Pre-shipment inspection
Actech checks samples for critical dimensions and customer-specified requirements, or finished-product function, appearance and packing, as applicable to the product.
Issue resolution
If nonconformities are found, suppliers may be asked to carry out additional sampling or full inspection, depending on the findings. Correctable issues are addressed before shipment. If an issue cannot be corrected, Actech requests customer approval to accept the deviation. Affected shipments are held until the customer confirms how to proceed.
Delivery coordination
Actech coordinates export and logistics in line with the agreed requirements.

Manufacturing FAQ

Does Actech support low-volume production?

Yes. Actech supports prototypes, pilot builds and high-mix, low-to-medium volume production. Suitable quantities depend on the part, process and tooling requirements; share your initial order quantity and estimated annual demand for review.

Can Actech manufacture both plastic and metal parts?

Yes. Actech coordinates plastic injection molding and CNC-machined metal components, including related finishing and assembly requirements. We review your drawings to determine the appropriate materials and manufacturing approach.

Can Actech integrate PCBA into finished assemblies?

Yes. Actech coordinates PCBA integration with plastic housings, metal components and mechanical assemblies. Assembly, testing and delivery scope are agreed for each project based on your drawings and requirements.

Does Actech provide NPI and DFM support?

Yes. Actech supports new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM) through drawing reviews, material and process evaluation, prototypes and pilot builds. Most projects begin with customer-provided drawings, with the required engineering support agreed during review.

Is Actech's manufacturing support based in Taiwan?

Yes. Actech is based in Taipei, Taiwan, providing engineering communication, production coordination and local quality oversight. Project-specific manufacturing and delivery arrangements are confirmed during quotation.

Can Actech coordinate multiple manufacturing processes through a single point of contact?

Yes. Actech brings plastic molding, CNC machining, surface finishing, PCBA integration and assembly coordination together through a single point of contact. This helps you align component requirements and manage the project from technical review through delivery.
